Why We Created This Course

Ministry is a beautiful calling, but it can also be deeply demanding.  Joy To The Nations created this mini-course to support Christian leaders who desire to serve faithfully while living and leading with spiritual health, wisdom, and balance.

Combined, we have spent decades serving as missionaries and ministers, walking alongside individuals, families, and communities through seasons of growth, crisis, and strain. We know the privilege of ministry, but we also know the quiet pressures leaders often carry. Expectations to stay strong, keep giving, and continually produce fruit can slowly erode rest, identity, and sustainability.

This course was shaped through real-life ministry experience, including seasons of leadership tension, misunderstanding, and the added weight of serving through the COVID lockdowns in Honduras. In those moments, we learned that passion alone is not enough. Even committed leaders need intentional rhythms of rest, reflection, support, grace, and community.
